Everything you need to know about Six Sigma and never dared to ask?

Six Sigma is alive and well and flourishing on the iSixSigma website.  This provides all kinds of resources for industry professionals – articles, case studies, dictionary of terms, discussion forum, job opportunities, and other resources.  It is particularly helpful if you want to learn more about some of the specific methods and techniques used in the Six Sigma context – such as statistical process control (SPC), Monte Carlo simulation, root cause analysis, and many more.

PS  If you’re not quite sure what Six Sigma is, we define it (on page 240 of our book) as: “a disciplined methodology that uses data and statistical analysis to measure and improve a company’s operational performance by identifying and eliminating ‘defects’ in manufacturing and service-related processes.”
