Operations Insight: the Seafood Pub Company – going for growth

The Seafood Pub Company was started by the Neve family in 2010 in the north of England..  At the end of 2014 they had grown their chain of pubs to seven.  But in 2015 they plan to open another 20 outlets.  This is a good example of the service firm life cycle at work, which we discuss on pages 72-74 of our book.  The operation has gone through the introduction and multi-site rationalisation stages – now they are going for rapid growth.
