Fast Company have a series of short videos on what they term “Innovation Agents”. These reveal the “people and personalities driving the world’s most radical, disruptive and creative companies”. The videos are more eclectic than this suggests, as some focus more on the innovation itself (such as the Planetvac and Cadillac ELR) than the innovator. And I’m not so sure these are the “world’s most” innovative….
Nonetheless they could be used in the classroom to get students thinking about innovation, the innovation process, and the people involved in the process. I would break the class into small groups and assign one video to each group. They would then have to either make a short presentation, or produce an infographic on one sheet of flip chart paper, to share with the rest of the class what they had learned about innovation from the video.
