Implications the Modern Slavery Bill has for supply chain management

This news story from the Home Office outlines how the Modern Slavery Bill, currently going through the UK parliament, will hold firms accountable for ensuring their supply chains are slavery free.  Firms of a certain size, yet to be determined, will annually have to report on and account for their efforts to achieve this aim.  This will apply to any country from which they source goods and services, wherever they may be in the world.
