Flexible working requests must be considered by employers

From 30 June, all employees in the UK will be able to request more flexible working hours from their employers.  Companies do not have to grant this, but they must give it reasonable consideration.  The government has intervened in this way, as research identifies that it is good for organisations and their employees – as explained in this legal update.
