How 3D printing will allow clothing industry to mass customise

This article from The Manufacturer demonstrates how 3D printing is being adopted in the textile and clothing industry.   One big impact is that it will allow clothes to be made-to-measure, instead of mass producing items in standard sizes.   Eventually this will allow customers to order what they want (either through an in-store keyboard or online) to fit their exact measurements, but at a much lower cost than a traditional tailor.
