Boeing ramp up production of 737

Interesting story in The Manufacturer about Boeing increasing the production rate of its 737.  In 2010 is was making around 32 aircraft a month.  It now plans to make 47 a month (ie 50% more), but it will be 2017 (ie seven years), before it is able to achieve this level of output.   Clearly changing production levels in this industry sector is not easy.
