UK car sales continue to rise

Given how many cars are assembled in the UK, it is surprising that only one in seven cars purchased in the UK are made here.  Nonetheless it is good news for manufacturing if car sales continue to rise.  The latest plate registration (63) had 403,136 new cars registered. This is the highest number for five years, but still not as many as prior to the banking crisis.
