Costa Concordia salvage

The cruise ship Costa Concordia, which tragically ran aground just off the Italian coast, has raised from the rocks on which it lay. It has taken a team 0f 500 salvage experts and technicians a year to get to his point, making this the largest salvage operation ever to take place.  Already costing £500 million, the ship is too damaged to be refitted, and will be broken up for scrap.
