… just scan in its QR code.  All new Mercedes-Benzcars will have a Quick Response (QR) sticker on them.  This is designed for the emergency services to use when the vehicle has been involved in accident, as when it is scanned into a smartphone, it explains how to cut into the vehicle in order to free any trapped passengers.  In particular it identifies the location of potential threats to the emergency workers, namely airbags, the battery, the fuel tank, electric cables, high-pressure cylinders and other components.  Daimler have waived the right to patent this idea so that all vehicle manufacturers can use it if they wish to free of charge.   Well done Daimler.
