Horse trading?

It seems that several UK supermarket chains have been selling frozen beef burgers contaminated with horse meat.   In the case of one brand sold by Tesco, the horse meat content was 29%.  The food manufacturer Silvercrest was the frozen food supplier, and they have blamed their suppliers for the contamination.  They import meat from Spain and Holland.   All concerned are stressing that the burgers were safe to eat – they just were not entirely beef….
