Thames Cable Car

This new visitor attraction in London, sponsored by Emirates Airlines, takes passengers from one side of the Thames to another.   But some query whether or not it will come to rival the London Eye – due to its east London location.  It goes from north of the Thames at the Royal Docks, across to the Greenwich Penisula near the O2 Arena.   We think the doubters are mistaken.  This experience is unique in London and it almost does not matter where it goes to and from.  It will become something that all visitors to London will want to do, just like they want their photo taken with a guard outside Buckingham Palace or take a ride on an open top London bus.  It’s order winner is in the ‘doing’ not the ‘viewing’.  And if you want to ‘take a ride’ there’s a great video.
